BIOGRAPHY


Richard J Moir is a UK filmmaker, editor and composer from Dundee, Scotland, currently residing in London. He has been working in the industry since 2009, when he began creating short films. In 2011, 'My Life With(out) Her' was his first project to be shown outside of Europe, and in 2014 ‘Then We Are Together’ was broadcast on Sky TV. Richard also works as a composer and has created songs for short films and video games, notably working closely with Glitch Games’ ‘Forever Lost’ series. In 2021, he released his first album ‘Songs At A Funeral For Someone You Hate’ which can be heard on all streaming services.

In 2018, Richard released his first feature film ‘Temptation’ which can be viewed on Amazon Prime. His latest project ‘In The Moonlight’ was finished in 2023 and can be viewed in the Filmography section. He is currently in pre-production of a drama short film titled ‘In Sound, We Found Each Other’, working again with close collaborators James Sobol Kelly and Nicholas Peel.
